Literacy Connects is an inspiring and impactful nonprofit that works to connect people of all ages to a world of opportunities through literacy and creative expression. In 2021, they celebrated their tenth anniversary year, and to mark the occasion with their donors and supporters, they hosted the Get Connected Gala at the Tucson Museum of Art in May, 2022. For this celebration, I helped with several print pieces, including a save the date postcard, invitation, reply card, sponsorship packet, and evening program.

At the center of all of these pieces was an image from one of their programs, Stories That Soar! This joyful, celebratory image helped connect attendees to the festive mood of the occasion. The Literacy Connects brand colors were also used throughout the pieces, and a special emphasis was given to their brand blue to reinforce the evening tone of the event. The event was a massive success, with tickets selling out weeks in advance.
